Modernizing a Massive Monolith by Aubrey Knudson We started our SproutCore dashboard for Square Merchants in 2012. Since then, the company and the codebase have grown significantly, but the dashboard has been too big to "throw away and start again." Come listen to how we have since upgraded it through Ember versions, migrated to new packages, started breaking it down into addons and engines, and even have it running concurrently with React for certain pieces.
