Federal and government agencies are expected to start mandating migration to those post-quantum cryptography very soon as well. This talk will begin by delving into the physics and mathematics of quantum computing to understand why it poses a significant threat to current encryption methods. We'll then explore the new post quantum cryptography standards, specifically from the perspective of the .NET ecosystem, examining practical examples related to data integrity, digital signatures, and secure communication, including end-to-end encryption.
