GRCon21 - GNU Radio at the Allen Telescope Array

Presented by Michael Piscopo at GNU Radio Conference 2021 Through a community partnership between GNU Radio and the ATA, a project to create a fully functional radio astronomy X-Engine based on GNU Radio and high-end GPU's has been in progress to support science observations at the telescope array. This talk will provide an overview of the open source GNU Radio OOT modules and hardware components that support this functionality. The current state of imaging using 12 dual-polarization antennas in real-time, along with the challenges and solutions to get there will also be presented. https://events.gnuradio.org/event/8/
