ABSTRACT: Open question and answer session with the Blockly team. More about the Summit: https://sites.google.com/corp/view/blockly-user-summit-2019/agenda About the speakers: Erik joined Google 10 years ago after completing a master's in educational robotics. He's worked on a variety of projects under Android and in education. He currently manages the Kids Coding team at Google, which maintains the Blockly library. Rachel is a software engineer at Google and an expert in all things Blockly. She has spent the last four years working on Blockly, and she can tell you more than you want to know about cross-platform mouse/pointer event handling. Sam is a Software Engineer on the Kids Coding Team at Google. He recently joined the Blockly team after moving to the bay area. Sam had previously worked at Microsoft on the MakeCode team. Abby started her adventure in the wonderful world of blocks about a year ago when she joined the Kids Coding Team at Google. Since then she has mainly been focused on Themes and Keyboard Navigation. Monica Monica is a sort-of new member on the Kids Coding team, returning to the Blockly team after working on VR in Google Daydream and helping out with other projects on Google's Education platform team. She has previously worked on Blockly Games and has had a hand in Blockly's recent rendering rewrite effort. Navil is the most recent addition to the Kids Coding Team at Google. Her work is currently focused on creating a demo for realtime collaboration with Blockly.
