ABSTRACT: Block coding is an effective way to expose students to CS concepts, but the visual nature of blocks also creates hurdles in making them accessible to all students. His research interests are in HCI, Accessibility, Software Engineering and Machine Learning, broadly construed. Their work with Blockly involves enabling accessibility by people with visual disabilities by adding support for assistive technologies. Outside school, he enjoys watching birds and cooking.
