Devoxx Greece 2024 - C.E.L.L Platform: Building a Next-Gen TelCo IT by Nikos Ntemkas

Vodafone Greece is transforming its infrastructure with the launch of C.E.L.L., a platform rooted in TMForum's Open Digital Architecture, shifting from monolithic systems to a microservices-based approach. The key feature of CELL is its innovative use of Kubernetes, integrating DevOps and software engineering through Custom Resources and the Java Operator SDK. This presentation will cover the basic principles that we adopted to help in our journeys, and the lessons learned from the implementation of the platform.
