A new era in electronic transactions is arriving in Greece via the new “Payzy by Cosmote” mobile app. Payzy offers a holistic digital solution, allowing users to cover everyday purchases & bills, while also carrying out transactions with their friends & family via their mobile phone, quickly, easily and securely. With this mobile app Cosmote is dynamically entering the e-transaction and mobile payment services market, on-boarding ~100,000 users in a couple of months since its official release. Behind the scenes, Payzy is a mobile app built with an impressive stack of some of the latest, most innovative and cutting edge technologies. Focusing on the subjects of Big Data, Analytics and AI, a series of solutions have been developed using state-of-the-art, open-source tools that form part of the Payzy technical ecosystem. Diving into the tech side of the app, among other things one will find a conversational assistant, a recommendation system, a search engine and an analytics end to end solution all of which are continuous works in progress, growing, evolving, embracing new technologies and tackling new challenges as they emerge.
