NX Generators or how to skip boring tasks by Francesco Leardini

Any developer knows very well the burden of creating a new project from scratch: CI/CD config files, naming conventions, and folder structure, to mention just some. NX generators are blueprints for creating single files or even whole applications and libraries, making them the perfect tool to automatize repetitive, tedious tasks. Aside from creating or removing files, it is possible to inject dynamic data into templates for tailoring each workspace to our specific needs and achieve maximum flexibility. Not only we can speed up any project setup, but we can also ensure all our apps respect the same predefined structure. This aspect is crucial for any team size, promoting architecture consistency. In this talk, we will explore the generators' potential, underlying their main benefits, and show how we can speed up our projects setup with them.
