What I have noticed is that more and more development teams prioritise user testing in their process and see the importance of user feedback. Which is great! But what I have also noticed, is that there is a lot of potential to get more out of those tests with just a little more preparation and follow-up work. Many times when you ask why something is done a certain way the answer is that this is based on user feedback. "The user has told us that this is important". But there is little documentation to support this claim. This session is not about conducting user testing it self. It is about the work you put in before and after to increase the value of those tests. Thinking about why you are testing, setting goals, and how to use and document those findings is the focus.
