Popcorn & Clocks; A story about scheduling in the browser - Stian Veum Møllersen - NDC Oslo 2022

There are many ways to schedule events in the browser. Not all of them equal or even compatible. In this session we will attempt to create generated audio and visuals that are synchronized, and in the process learn about the tools we have to work with when attempting to schedule things. I will take you through my attempt to recreate the famous synth-piece "Pop Corn" with some accompanying visuals, and along the way you'll learn something new about WebAudio, Canvas and other niche APIs in the browser.
