How we prepare for major events and increased traffic at NRK.no – both the ones we know about in advance and those that surprise us. The talk will cover how we are rigged for handling major increase in traffic without outages. We will discuss both major events known in advance, e.g. the general election and Melodi Grand Prix (Norwegian branch of Eurovision Song Contest), but also sudden surges in traffic caused by unexpected news events.
