This is a story about the history of roller coasters from the perspective of a software developer. As a software developer and MVP, I am not only addicted to my computer and Microsoft toys: I like to travel the world, together with my wife, and ride as many roller coasters as I can. Due to COVID-19, 2020 and 2021 have been sad roller coaster years for me. This is why, instead of experiencing them, I want to talk about my passion for roller coasters and compare the evolution of roller coaster engineering with software design.
