Reflecting on the Return of the Information is Beautiful Awards

The Information is Beautiful Awards returned in 2022 after a two year hiatus. With more than 1300 submissions from over 600 unique creators, representing 55 countries and 27 different languages, the judges had an incredible submission pool to work through to select this year’s shortlist and winners. During this Fireside Chat, we’ll bring together members of the DVS organizing team and a few members from the teams behind winning works to reflect on what the return of the IIB Awards means for the data visualization community and how we can continue to expand on the ways the Awards program is a space for celebration, conversation, learning, and inspiration within the data visualization field.
