Using Data Viz to Re-Sensitize The World To Animals Animals are ubiquitous in our world, living in our homes and in the wild, and dying to be on our plates. The scale of animal exploitation is incredibly large and generally well-hidden, leading to a situation where most people are simply desensitized to it. In my talk, I will explore how data visualization can help to re-sensitize the general public to the plight of animals in factory farms, other forms of captivity, and in the wild, using real examples that I've published with Faunalytics.
