Guillermina Sutter Schneider, Luis Ahumada—Outlier 2021—DataViz for non-profit

DataViz for non-profit Luis and Guillermina have been working at the Cato Institute for the past three years. As a think tank, their colleagues at Cato do research on public policy (international development, education, immigration, etc). After they started a process to standardize the dataviz design of all publications (books, policy analyses, digital, etc.) They also created dataviz guidelines for the organization and trained the staff on how to use different tools to produce standardized dataviz. This talk will include tips for those people working at think tanks or other non-profits who could potentially implement or follow our steps into standardizing design and dataviz.
