Going Beyond Matplotlib and Seaborn: A survey of Python data visualization tools Data practitioners have long complained about the dearth of easy to use, flexible data visualization tools in the Python ecosystem. In this talk, attendees will hear about some lesser known but powerful and easy to use tools for high quality data visualizations in Python, including plotnine, bokeh, Altair, and Plotly. I'll demonstrate how to build five different kinds of common plot in each of the libraries, letting attendees see the pros and cons firsthand. We’ll get an overview of their basic syntax, and compare them to the old standards of Matplotlib and seaborn.
