Visualizing the history of Mass Incarceration The legislative roots of mass incarceration run deep in the United States. What is different now, from previous periods of racial control in the U.S., like slavery and the Jim Crow era? We have data, and we're seeing the injustices live streamed. I will be walking through the process of how I took this master’s thesis project from idea to delivery to show how this very human problem has shown itself in data throughout the years.
